If you are reading this looking for a small business that is totally professional with not only the work done, but the whole process from quote to finish. Without the hassle and expense of hiring a big corporation. Look no further. Steve did such a professional job. Everything was done with care and expertise down to replacing the smallest ring that covers the pipes to the wall (something we never would have considered). He communicated his progress every step of the way. We couldn’t be more pleased with the whole process and the end result of a bathroom we always dreamed of having. We recommend Zebra Remodeling to everyone, and would hire again without a second thought. Note: price shown was for labor only, we purchased most the physical items ourselves.

Steve advised me on fixtures and details that I would buy, and accurately estimated what I might spend. He kindly rescheduled the start of the project to accommodate a family emergency, and when he did begin, the project ran smoothly from start to finish. Whenever some question arose, I was consulted. He understood from the beginning that I wanted a good, updated bathroom, but not something from a magazine. It turned out exactly as I had hoped. Their cleanup was conscientious, and all I had to do to clean in the adjacent room was dusting and vacuuming. I would hesitate to hire him again.
Description of work:
Remodeling and update of a fairly small early 80's bathroom to remove a large claw foot tub and replace it with a modern walk-in shower. Steve's staff removed the wall and floor tiles, plus the bathtub, toilet, vanity, medicine cabinet, and lighting. They replaced the subfloor around the toilet area where there had been a leak from the water supply, and applied durock on the floor and on the walls within a new shower enclosure. Replaced drywall elsewhere throughout the room, and installed a new acrylic shower base, tiles within the shower, shower doors, floor tiles, vanity, lighting and all new plumbing. They repainted the walls and trim in colors I chose. Zebra's price included all of the structural components, cements, grout, piping, durock, drywall and paint. With Steve's contractor assistance, we shopped for all of the surface components for the shower, vanity, lights, towel and grab bars, floor and wall tile. These were paid for separately and are not included in the approximate cost of service shown below.

Steve came as promised to give me an estimate on a bath remodel that I'm planning to do. He spent an hour with me explaining pricing of the work and the process of how the remodel would be handled. I had a lot of questions about options for the vanity, tub area, tile, etc. and he answered all my questions. He provided a verbal estimate of $8k for the work which does not include materials because cost of materials varies on what I will be choosing. He seems like a very nice and honest guy and did not pressure me to make a decision at that moment. I would definitely work with him in the future but I have a little more research to do so I haven't made my final decision.

Kitchen remodeling including cabinets, counter top, tiles on wall, lights, and wood floor through out to living room.
Steve and his team are very hard workers. Our house was built in 1976 and the kitchen was original. We had complete Kitchen remodeling and new wood floor. Because Steve is general contractor and carpenter and electrician and plumber and painter, all work was done seamlessly (except we had to wait for granite counter top). He makes good suggestion for any small details we asked for.
My wife and I are completely satisfied his professionality and his work.
Thank you Steve!

Install five interior doors in existing frames, including hardware. Paint doors and existing frames. Labor and partial material: paint.
Install bathroom vanity, sink, faucet, linen cabinet, and mirror. Assemble IKEA cabinets. Applied skin coat and painted bathroom walls and ceiling.
I had used this company recently to remodel my kitchen and things went so well it was a no-brainer to go back to them for the next project I wanted done. Due to ordering the doors, a vacation, and the Fourth of July holiday the start date was pushed back a little longer than I would have liked, but the work was done efficiently and everything looks great. Steve pays attention to the little details, which makes a big difference. He takes pride in his work and does things correctly and well.
